Our tip of the month is: Always wear a helmet when on your bike.
It has been a while since the JRSOs have held a competition so we think it is time to raise awareness about road safety. The competition will be open to all children.
This competition will look a bit like a word search except it will only have 4 letters: JRSO. The person who finds the most JRSOs in the word search will win a small prize. We will select a winner from each class.
If there is more than 1 person in a class who finds all the JRSOs the names will be put in a hat and a winner randomly drawn.
Word-searches will be handed out early next week.
All competition entries should be handed in for Monday 25th May and all children can enter.
Hope you have fun

Hi, We are your local JRSO's. Our Primary 7 JRSO Is Calla, and our Primary 6 JRSO is Emily. A JRSO is a Junior Road Safety Officer, and its our responsibility that we take care of everybody around us on the roads. We do monthly competitions like Green foot forward, fancy dress and colouring in competitions. We have done the pedometre challenge which succeeded extremely well, and now we are doing walk to school week which we hope will go to plan.
